Hailed as the "Caviar of Fruit". The finger lime has a refreshing taste that is very different from other citrus fruit, somewhat resembling a gherkin, elongated in shape, and up to 3 inches in length which are far from the usual lime shape which is round or spherical.
When the caviar lime is cut in half, the light green juice vesicles ooze out giving the appearance of caviar erupting from the fruit. Limequats
Limequats are a hybrid of a lime and a kumquat. The round fruits are about 2 inches long. They have a thin yellow-greenish rind and light yellow skin.
