Product Description:

The Fukushu is a dwarf citrus tree that has pear-shaped fruit with oval leaves. Fukushu trees are extremely easy to grow, requiring minimal pruning for shaping, making them an excellent choice as container plants. Kumquats are often used as a centerpiece in China; the fruits are picked and eaten between courses. The flowering period is from June to late August with fruit maturing in November. Mature fruit has a dark orange color. The entire fruit may be eaten, the rind is sweet and orange in color and the flesh has a sweet & sour taste. The Fukushu is cold hardy in USDA Growing Zones 9-11. The tree can be kept as a patio plant in all other growing zones. If you live in a cold climate, simply bring your tree inside during the winter.
